In order to do your simulation project justice, chances are that you'll have to contend with a fair amount of data. Luckily for you, we have both plenty of academic training in statistical analysis, but also a great deal of practical experience. We can help you figure out where to look for data, how to collect it and how to prepare it for use in the simulation.

Data Structure Design

Creating the right data structure for your model can make the difference between success and failure, or at the very least between easy or painful to implement. If you were to get professional help on only one component of your simulation project, this might just be the best choice. We've saved many clients weeks and weeks of effort with some well-timed data structuring advice.

Input Data Collection

Many of our clients tell us that they know the necessary data is available, but don't know how to retrieve it, organize it or analyze it. Still other clients know that the data is necessary but doesn't exist. Whether you fall into the first sitution or the latter, we've been down the road many times. We can work with you to determine exactly what data you'll need to fulfill your project's objectives, and perhaps more importantly, how to get it.

Input Data Analysis

Simulation tools derive part of their value from the fact that they explicitly model the randomness inherent in the real world. In order to have accurate models, you need to accurately capture that randomness in the form of properly-fitted statistical distributions. We can either perform this analysis for you or coach you through the process.
