Complex Manufacturing and Materials Handling Simulation

We conducted an extensive simulation study of a complex manufacturing and materials handling system. The goal of the project was to examine the system's throughput and production scheduling in light of a $10 Million capital investment. The model was successfully used to evaluate the materials handling system to ensure that its capacity would not bottleneck the system and constrain overall production.

Scrap Copper Simulation

NovaSim assisted Mueller's engineers in a simulation study of the delivery and storage requirements for scrap copper to their casting facility. The study objective was to schedule the delivery of copper to minimize inventory levels without starving the casting facility of material.
